Danielle Horak
Danielle Horak is a performance artist and art teacher working on the Space Coast of Florida. She graduated from Florida State University with her BA in Studio Art and is currently pursuing her MA in Art Education from the University of Florida.
Her grandmother taught her stained glass as soon as she was old enough to safely operate a soldering iron. Together they made countless gifts for teachers, policemen, and the doctor's office. Though Danielle was exposed to stained glass as a craft, she addresses it as a fine art and designs her own pieces instead of working off a pattern. She encourages her students to do the same.
Danielle teaches a broad spectrum of classes including sketchbook, drawing, art history, stained glass, paper making and crafting, wheel throwing and hand building, and watercolor as a private instructor and as adjunct faculty to the Renee Foosaner Education Center. She also works as a nanny, a princess, a photographer, a poet, and a tutor.
